James Douglas Morrison, more commonly known as Jim Morrison was an American singer, poet, writer and film director. Best known as the frontman of Los Angeles band, The Doors he died age 27 of a suspected drugs overdose in Paris, France. This portrait was taken in 1967 by photographer Joel Brodsky as part of a photoshoot known as "The Young Lion" photo session.
